Federal Indian Law Case Update: Staying Ahead in the Count in Federal Indian Law
Federal Indian Law is a complex, dynamic and ever changing area of law. The law is based on, among other sources, the United States Constitution, Indian treaties, federal statutes and federal district court and United States Supreme Court decisions. Because of its transitory nature, it is important to remain up to date on recent federal court decisions related to Federal Indian Law, particularly in Arizona where approximately 27% of Arizona is Indian reservation or trust lands and we have 22 Indian tribes. This seminar provides an overview and summary of 2013/14 United States Supreme Court and Federal District Court cases involving Federal Indian Law issues.
