Lewis and Roca LLP is pleased to announce that partners Stephen Hart and Jennifer Van Kirk were appointed to key leadership positions within the firm.
Hart, a partner at the firm, was appointed as the new Practice Group Leader of the Gaming practice group and will serve a two-year term. He concentrates his practice on Indian law, gaming law and government relations. Hart represents Tribes and Tribal Gaming Commissions throughout the Western United States. He also represents corporations and other business entities in their efforts to shape and comply with government regulations. As Practice Group Leader, Hart will continue to lead the positive growth of the Gaming practice group, an important and successful area within the firm.
Van Kirk, a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice group, was appointed to the firm’s Policy Committee and will serve a five-year term. She counsels clients on all aspects of brand protection, including trademark clearance, prosecution and licensing matters. Van Kirk is the only Arizona lawyer featured in the International Bar Association’s Who’s Who Legal - Trademarks. She manages the policing programs of several prominent clients including one of the world’s top spas and a federal government agency. Van Kirk has previously held key leadership positions within the firm including practice group leader of the Intellectual Property group.
