Charles E. Jensen is an Associate in Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie’s Intellectual Property practice group. Primarily a patent prosecutor, his education and experience has afforded him an exceptional grasp of electronic circuitry which he applies in guiding clients through the patent process for all types of technology and media.
Before attending law school, Charles served in the U.S. Navy. In addition, he was a research assistant at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where his work included examining thermoelectric properties of various materials at extreme temperatures and pressures. He also created computer models of the H2+ molecule in the early universe. As a member of the J. Ruben Clark Law Society, Charles serves on the Technology Committee for the International Society and as a Board Member for the Los Angeles Chapter. Charles was a 2012 summer associate at a patent firm in Dunkirk, Maryland.
In addition, Charles has many years of experience working in the construction industry including design, drafting and building of residential and commercial buildings as well as implementation of utility infrastructure. An Eagle Scout, he volunteers as a Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America.
