Lewis Roca Rothgerber is pleased to welcome Roger Morris as a senior partner in the firm’s Denver office.
Morris, who concentrates his practice on gaming and liquor law, is joining firm partners Sean McGuinness and Trey Rogers, the current gaming practice team in Colorado. With his addition, Lewis Roca Rothgerber represents several casinos, manufacturers, distributors, lenders and other suppliers to the Colorado gaming industry.
Morris previously held his own private practice and has 24 years of experience in gaming law and 33 years of experience in liquor licensing. He has served as the first director of the Colorado Division of Gaming, the agency that oversees and regulates casino gambling activities and licensing in Colorado. He also served as Director of the Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division and as an assistant attorney general in the Colorado Attorney General’s Office.
Throughout his career, Morris has been a speaker and panelist at national and international gaming and alcohol beverage conferences. He received his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.
