Woller Recognized with Prestigious 40 Under 40 Award

DENVER – Joy Woller, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group at Lewis Roca LLP, is one of the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award winners for 2016.

The 40 Under 40 awards recognize outstanding young professionals whose business and community service accomplishments make a positive influence in greater Denver. Winners were announced Feb. 12 after more than 400 nominations were reviewed.

Woller represents individuals, corporations and government entities ‎in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, and in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. As the firm's eDiscovery and Litigation Support partner, she provides leadership in addressing complex electronic discovery issues and ‎counsels clients regarding electronic discovery.‎

Woller is an energetic volunteer for SafeHouse Denver, where she is now chair of the Board of Directors. In addition to her work with SafeHouse, she is mother of two young children and active with their school, Aspen Academy, where she served as president of the Parent Civic Organization. She also is a vigorous supporter of her alma mater, Colorado State University.

Other professional recognition for Woller includes inclusion on the Colorado Super Lawyers and Rising Stars list in 2014 and 2015; receiving the 2013 Compleat Lawyer award from Law Week Colorado; and membership in the Electronic Discovery Task Force for the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.

Woller received her J.D. magna cum laude from the Syracuse University College of Law, and earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences with minors in Political ‎Science and Anatomy and Neurobiology from Colorado State University.

The 40 Under 40 Class of 2016 will be recognized during an event March 17 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Downtown Denver.
