Lewis Roca Rothgerber LLP proudly announces James M. Lyons has been elected as a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society whose membership is limited to less than one percent of North American lawyers, judges and scholars. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only.
Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.
Lyons focuses his practice on complex business litigation mediation and arbitration of virtually all types, including corporate, securities and insurance law. He has more than 40 years of courtroom and jury trial experience in state and federal courts.
Lyons served as Special Advisor to the President and Secretary of State for Economic Initiatives in Ireland and Northern Ireland from 1996-2001 under President William Jefferson Clinton. He is the author of Peace Meets the Streets: On the Ground in Northern Ireland, 1993-2001.
In 2009, Lyons was appointed Ireland's Honorary Consul in the Denver Metropolitan area by Ireland's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Micheál Martin.
