Overview
Jared Sutton is a partner in the litigation group. Since joining the firm in 2012, Jared has developed a diverse practice litigating real estate, corporate, construction, franchise, general contract, and insurance disputes (including coverage issues, agent disputes, and class actions). Jared practices primarily in trial courts, but is also growing an appellate practice in which he has litigated numerous cases in state and federal appellate courts. Drawing on his experience before law school as a procurement clerk for the Department of Army, Jared also helps clients navigate the process for protesting and appealing state and federal procurement decisions. Due to his repeat experience with complex and high-document-volume commercial litigation, Jared has become a go-to member of the firm on issues related to eDiscovery and document management.
Personal Approach
Jared’s responsive and proactive approach to practice has helped him develop long-term relationships with his clients. He learns their businesses, their industries, and their cultures to deliver on our value-driven approach. Jared enjoys the daily challenges that come from practicing law and is motivated by the prospect of helping his clients solve their most complex problems. Jared sees the value in providing his clients with multiple options in light of applicable law and works around the clock to advance their objectives.
Jared dedicates his free time and summers to a pretty unique family tradition. Along with his three kids, he and his wife have started travelling across the United States visiting baseball stadiums, watching the games, and enjoying stadium food.
