Lewis Roca Rothgerber is pleased to welcome Caitlin McHugh and Brent R. Owen as associates in our Denver office.
Ms. McHugh is an associate in the firm’s Litigation group with experience in areas such as drafting motions and pleadings, conducting legal research and assisting with discovery and trial preparations. Before joining the firm, Ms. McHugh served as a law clerk for the Honorable R. Brooke Jackson at the U.S. District Court in the District of Colorado. In this capacity, she wrote numerous draft orders and memos and assisted the Court in presiding over more than a dozen trails and hearings on a variety of civil disputes. Ms. McHugh received her J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Colorado Law School in 2012 and her B.A. in Sociology from the University Colorado, Boulder in 2008, with Distinction.
Mr. Owen is an associate in the firm’s Litigation group. Before joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nancy E. Rice of the Colorado Supreme Court. In addition to his normal clerk duties, he assisted with the Learning Center in the recently constructed Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center. While in law school, Mr. Owen served as Managing Editor of the Journal on Telecommunications and High Technology Law. He received his J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Colorado Law School in 2012 and his B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Government, from Wofford College in 2009, on the Kirby Endowed Full Scholarship.
