Lewis and Roca LLP is pleased to announce that partner and gaming law thought leader Anthony Cabot was appointed to the firm’s Policy Committee and will serve a five-year term.
Cabot is a partner and former Practice Group Leader of the firm’s Gaming practice group. He helps clients in the areas of gaming law, Internet gambling, sweepstakes and contests. Covering the entire gaming spectrum, his clients include casino owners, game developers, Internet gambling sites, and companies that run contests and sweepstakes. Cabot provides legal counseling related to all types of games, encompassing online games, casual games and complex skill-based games.
The Policy Committee is the firm’s governance group. Some of its responsibilities include: approving all firm policies and budgets, appointing practice managers and committees of the firm, and overseeing the work of the Managing Partner, the Chair of the Committee. The Committee is composed of seven partners elected by the partnership.
