Albuquerque Economic Development Re-Elects Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie Attorney to Board of Directors

ALBUQUERQUE (February 21, 2019) – Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie partner, Dennis Jontz, has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of Albuquerque Economic Development. Jontz will serve a three-year term as a member of the board.

Jontz represents clients in business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, capital acquisitions, real estate deals, real estate contracts and land development. He has been involved in some of the largest real estate transactions in New Mexico. In addition, he provides business formation planning for all types of businesses, including government contractors and new technology companies. He is experienced in name/trademark registration, business management agreements, and software licensing.

Jontz also continually serves as legal counsel to banks and credit unions, helping resolve issues involving foreclosures, breach of contract, bank sales disputes, negotiable instruments, and lender liability. He has handled numerous matters involving disputes over easements, construction defects, development loan defaults, and related issues.

As an active member of the community, Jontz currently serves as one of the founding board members of the Explora Science Center & Children’s Museum. He is the Chairman of the Board for Oso Grande Technologies, Inc. and is a member of the Albuquerque Economic Forum. Jontz received his J.D., M.B.A. and B.A. from Drake University
