Overview
Alek Emery is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. With a background in physics and mathematics, Alek’s practice focuses on guiding clients through the preparation and prosecution of their patent portfolios. He has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications across a variety of technical fields, including mechanical and software-based patents.
Prior to joining the firm, Alek served a semester of law school as a judicial extern for Hon. Kathleen M. O’Malley of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C.
