Colorado Springs: Lunch with a Lawyer - April 11, 2017

04/11/2017

What are the differences between copyrights and trademarks?  Are all business names trademarks? And what are the benefits of federally registering a trademark rather than just relying on its consistent use over time?  What about the benefits of registering copyrights? These are just some of the questions that Nate Edwards will address during this introduction to trademark and copyright law.

We provide the lunch; you provide the questions. This luncheon will not be a lecture, but is designed to provide you with the opportunity to ask questions about specific situations you have or might encounter.

This topic is designed for business owners and managers, nonprofit directors, church and ministry leaders, human resources managers, finance managers, and others who work in decision-making or support roles in your organization.

Date: April 11th, 2017

Time: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Complimentary lunch will be available beginning at 11:45 a.m.

Location: Offices of Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie
90 South Cascade Avenue, Suite 1100, Colorado Springs, CO, 80903

We expect these luncheons to fill up quickly, so please register by April 7, 2017 by emailing Amy McGuire at AMcGuire@LRRC.com.
