Dieter Raemdonck is an associate in the firm’s Regulatory and Government practice group. Through his work, Mr. Raemdonck advises clients on a multitude of government relations, real estate, and gaming matters involving campaign finance and election law; land use and development; and gaming leisure.

As a registered lobbyist, Mr. Raemdonck has invaluable expertise and experience communicating with state, county and municipal officials; state and federal legislators; executive branch employees; and state agencies and regulators. He is counted on for his keen ability to understand a client’s vision, and proactively develop the necessary legislation, messaging and strategy to help drive it to an optimal outcome. In addition to legislative strategy, Mr. Raemdonck also routinely advises clients on political giving programs and community development opportunities.

Mr. Raemdonck assists his clients with government interactions, including both legislative and regulatory matters. He helps his clients understand the government decision-making process and to craft, manage and promote their public policy message. Further, Mr. Raemdonck meets his clients' regulatory law needs by assisting with the development and implementation of strategies to achieve their goals before rulemaking authorities.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Raemdonck was the Legislative Aide for the House Minority Leader and worked for two prominent government affairs firms in Colorado.

  • ​​​Drafted and passed legislation to create a private marketplace for economic development tax incentives
  • Drafted and passed legislation to update Colorado’s mortgage lending laws to bring them into compliance with federal requirements
  • Passed legislation to close loopholes in Colorado’s marijuana laws to help eliminate the black market for marijuana products
  • Helped secure additional funding opportunities for nonprofit dedicated to child mentoring
