Overview
Dustin Luettgen is a registered patent attorney with a background in chemical engineering and bioengineering applications. Dustin assists a wide variety of clients with the preparation of new patent applications, prosecution of pending patent and trademark applications, as well as matters related to copyright law, trade secret law, and §101 issues related to subject matter eligibility. He helps clients of all sizes develop and execute comprehensive IP strategies, which encompass all forms of IP protection potentially available to protect their businesses and products.
Dustin has a diverse range of technical experience, including organic chemistry, physical chemistry, biology, chemical engineering systems analysis, process dynamics and control, transport phenomena, chemical engineering design, bioengineering applications, and tissue engineering. In addition to prosecution of patents for clients with inventions in the chemical arts, Dustin also assists clients with obtaining patent protection for inventions in electrical and mechanical arts, as well clients seeking design patents.
In his free time, Dustin enjoys hiking, playing racquetball, cooking, going for runs with his dog, and spending time with his friends and family.
