Jason Bacigalupi is an attorney in Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie's Gaming Practice Group in Las Vegas. He assists clients with a variety of gaming matters relating to land-based and interactive casinos, horse racing, sports betting, sweepstakes and contests. Additionally, he assists both gaming and non-gaming clients in connection with transactional matters related to real estate, finance, and corporate formation and governance issues.

Since joining the firm, Jason has advised clients on numerous issues, including opening the first newly built casino resort in Las Vegas since 2010, a client’s acquisition of four hotel/casino properties in Nevada, a publicly-traded gaming company, and numerous public card room operations in Washington State, the sale of a large undeveloped property on the Las Vegas Strip, and the purchase or sale of several large commercial investment properties. Jason provides counsel on nearly every aspect of these complex transactions, including the ownership and management structure, financing, drafting numerous ancillary agreements, and due diligence.

Jason is licensed in Nevada has represented clients before the Nevada Gaming Control ‎Board and Nevada Gaming Commission. He has significant experience conducting multi-jurisdictional licensing projects and has participated in regulatory and licensing matters in ‎numerous tribal, state and foreign jurisdictions including Colorado, Iowa, California and  Washington.‎ Prior to joining the firm, Jason spent three years practicing complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy law, administrative law and real estate law.

Jason is a fourth-generation Nevadan and was born and raised in Carson City and Reno. After attending the University of Washington, Jason was a commercial real estate agent in Northern Nevada for six years prior to attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law.
