As City Attorney, Bronson will provide legal representation to Denver city officials, departments, agencies, boards and commissions, and oversee some 200 attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff. The appointment was announced during a news conference at the Denver City and County Building.

“Kristin is a brilliant and innovative lawyer,” Mayor Hancock said. “Her expertise and legal acumen will allow her to lead one of the largest public law offices in the state. This is a vital role within city government and I have no doubt she will provide us with the highest quality of counsel and representation.”

We will miss her at our firm, but we are thrilled that her talents will continue to be utilized here in Denver to benefit our community.”

“After being with the firm for 20 years, I will certainly miss the close relationships and successes we’ve celebrated with clients and colleagues. I expect a smooth transition both for the firm and with the City as I move into my new position,” added Bronson.
