Mark Garscia is a Partner in Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie’s Intellectual Property practice group. Clients turn to Mark for assistance with domestic and foreign intellectual property counseling and portfolio management. In 2010, he was selected as a California Top 25 IP Portfolio Manager by the Daily Journal.

With more than 30 years of experience in intellectual property law and working with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Mark has obtained patents in a variety of technologies, including spinal implants, heart valves, syringes, automobile and airline seat mechanisms, power plant pumps and seals, telecommunications products, solar-powered systems, wetsuits and outerwear.

Mark served as chair of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office Affairs Committee of the American Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law Section and was a Council Member from 2003-2007. Currently, Mark is the President of the Counsel for Justice, the charitable arm of the LA County Bar Association.

In 2015, Mark was honored as a Volunteer of the Year by the LA County Board of Supervisors for his work at the Pasadena courthouse for the Domestic Violence Project where he helped to obtain restraining orders for victims of abuse. He is also a Director for the local AYSO Board, which administers a soccer league for over 3,000 children.
