PHOENIX (January 03, 2024) – Lewis Roca is proud to announce the selection of three lawyers to join the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2024.

Abby Harder

Litigation
Denver

Harder is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and co-lead of the Class Actions Group. She brings a wealth of skills to her practice, specializing in representing clients in commercial litigation, covering class actions, real estate, employment, and close corporation and partnership disputes. Harder has a successful track record representing both plaintiffs and defendants across all litigation phases, including dispositive motions, discovery, jury trials, bench trials, arbitration proceedings, and appeals.

Harder is an active member of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association and the Young Professionals Council of The Rose Andom Center, a family justice center located in Denver. Harder was recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation in 2024, and Colorado Super Lawyers - Rising Star in 2022-2023.

She received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, Order of the Coif, and her B.A. from Colorado State University, University Honors Scholar.

Andrew Dixon

Business Transactions
Las Vegas

Dixon, a member of the Business Transactions Practice Group, excels in navigating diverse transactional matters. His experience includes real estate acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, mergers and acquisitions, legal opinions, entity formation and governance, and various other commercial transactions. With a background as a business and commercial litigator, including representation of debtors and creditors in bankruptcy matters, Dixon provides clients with a unique, forward-looking approach.  His extensive experience in real estate, business, and commercial transactions and disputes, positions him as a valuable asset to the firm.

Active in the community, Dixon is a member of the Clark County Bar Association. He has also been consistently recognized as a Top Rank Attorney in Corporate, Financing and Lending Transactions by Nevada Business Magazine, a Top Lawyer in Real Property by Vegas Inc., and a Super Lawyer in Business and Corporate Law and Real Estate for over a decade.

Dixon received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law, and his B.A. from Brigham Young University.

Karen Lowell

Lowell is a member of the firm’s Business Transactions and Tax Practice Groups and brings her experience to advising clients on various business and tax planning matters. With a proven background in resolving business tax disputes, she guides clients through sales, use, and property tax matters, including tax audits and appeals. Lowell specializes in advising clients on multistate sales and use tax issues, including e-commerce businesses' nexus and collection obligations. Her experience extends to property tax valuation appeals, corporate transactions, and health care taxes.

Active in the community, Lowell is a member of the Ballet Arizona Board of Directors, Former Vice Chair of the Ballet Arizona Contemporary Council, State and Local Tax Liaison of the Arizona State Bar Tax Council, and Past President of the University of Southern California Alumni Club of Phoenix. She has consistently been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the “ones to watch” category for tax law, as well as named in Southwest Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, Chambers USA, and as a Top Lawyer by Phoenix Magazine.

Lowell received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, Certificate of Tax Law and Policy, Order of the Coif, and her B.S. from the University of Southern California.
