Polsenberg Elected Nevada State Delegate for ABA House of Delegates

Lewis Roca partner Dan Polsenberg has been elected as the Nevada State Delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates. Polsenberg will serve a three-year term. The House of Delegates is the legislative body of the ABA which adopts and governs the Association’s policies.

Polsenberg has more than 30 years of experience representing clients in cases ranging from tort to tax, constitutional and commercial law. He has personally argued over 250 appeals and has written thousands of briefs. He served as President of the State Bar of Nevada and was the first Nevadan to be named a fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. In addition to issue of public importance, Polsenberg often handles appeals regarding large awards, punitive damages and other cases that raise special issues.

A commitment to community service is also very important to Polsenberg. His efforts were recognized in 2016 as he was inducted into the 100+ Hour Club of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada for his pro bono contributions to the organization. Polsenberg received his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School and his B.A., cum laude from LaSalle University.

The American Bar Association's House of Delegates is the policy-making body of the association and oversees the administration of the ABA. The House meets twice each year, at ABA Annual and Midyear Meetings.  At the Midyear Meeting, the Nominating Committee nominates officers and members of the Board of Governors.
