Steven French is an associate in Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie’s Intellectual Property practice group, whose practice focuses on patent prosecution and patent and trademark litigation. He assists his clients in drafting and prosecuting patent applications to make their inventions profitable and strategically valuable in the technical fields in which they do business.

Steven works with clients of all sizes, from global companies to individuals, and carefully tailors his representation to meet the goals of each client. His background in physics and mathematics provides him with the flexibility needed to effectively handle inventions from a variety of technical fields, and he has extensive experience in the fields of electronics, photonics, electro-photonics, and mechanics. He has handled patent applications relating to display devices and related technologies, circuits, batteries, lasers, optical waveguides, amplifiers, photodetectors, modulators, integrated circuits, and hydraulics.

Steven received his law degree from Pepperdine Law School, where he served as Literary Citation Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review. During law school, Steven also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Barbara A. McAuliffe of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
