Steven French is an associate in Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie’s Intellectual Property practice group, whose practice focuses on patent prosecution.

Steven has experience assisting his clients in all stages of obtaining a patent, including drafting applications, revising foreign applications for filing in the United States, and responding to actions by the United States Patent Office. His background in physics and mathematics provides him with the flexibility needed to effectively prosecute patent applications in a variety of fields, including electronics, photonics, mechanics, chemistry, and software. Steven has particular experience in the fields of display devices, sensor technology, batteries, optical waveguides and modulators, hydraulics, medical devices, and the internet of things.

Steven received his law degree from Pepperdine Law School, where he served as Literary Citation Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review. During law school, Steven also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Barbara A. McAuliffe (U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California).
